Our rovings are made from 100% merino fibre at 23.5 microns and are just great for all types of felting and spinning projects. Each length is approx 100g in weight and hand dyed to our stunning range of shades. So time to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in – no double sided sticky tape needed here though.

The fibre is very soft and spins easily and evenly. The roving has vivid splashes of colour - magenta, dayglo yellow, and brightest green. However once spun and plied to thinnish double knit (or thickish 4ply if you like) it has gone all wishy washy. My best bet would have been to have Navajo plied and kept the flashes of colour much more concentrated and not mixed . I have knitted some of my finished yarn and can't say that I like the colours much at all.
On the plus side the yarn is very soft and I bought another colourway at the same time that is absolutely wonderful.
