In a time of light sabres and masked marvels we find ourselves in a new era of adventure, beyond bats and spandex pants. As we speak the ever-present force binding us together grows. Small threads, fine filigrees of fibre are drawn together in homes across the globe. But who is there at the hour of need to nurture this most delicate of creative endeavours? Can knitting claim super heroes of it’s own? Can crochet be preparing a new mini marvel? spokesperson from the inter galactic textile federation yesterday confirmed that indeed there have been sightings of such heroes.

Here at Colinette we are proud to offer you the first glimpse of knitting’s little super heroes, a band of mini rebels who have a mission and a destiny. Asked what their mission was, Aurora, a leading super hero responded by proclaiming “ where there is grey I bring colour, where there is dullness I sprinkle joy and where there are knitting needles I give you inspiration…” With that she was gone, shouting “we are the Jelly all stars.” No doubt she was called along with her companions to another home to sprinkle yet more magnificent knitting karma. In her place was a bright book of colour and inspiration filled with designs for the little super heroes of families the world over.
